About this research

Researchers at The University of Queensland (UQ) are studying how children with listening difficulties perform on tests of auditory processing, language, attention, and memory.

Who can participate

To be eligible to take part in this study, your child will need to:

  • have listening difficulties
  • be aged 7–12 years old, and
  • have normal hearing thresholds.

What's involved

You'll be asked to:

  • complete 2 questionnaires about your child's listening
  • bring your child to the St Lucia campus for a series of listening assessments over 2 x 90-minute sessions.

You'll receive a report describing your child’s listening abilities at the end of the assessment.
