Flexible wellbeing: An online workshop to prevent burnout in educators
About this research
Educators, including teachers and other school staff, have a higher risk for experiencing workplace stress and burnout due to the challenging nature of their work.
This project will test a brief, online wellbeing workshop for school staff grounded in acceptance and commitment therapy and the related approach of compassion-focused therapy (CFT) that seeks to prevent burnout.
Who can participate
You're eligible if you:
- are an educator, teacher, or other school staff who have direct contact with students
- live in Australia
- work in primary or high school settings.
What's involved
You will be asked to:
- complete a 2-hour self-paced online wellbeing workshop
- complete 3 surveys to evaluate the workshop.
Benefits of participating
Participants will contribute to research seeking to prevent burnout and improving professional quality of life in Australian teachers.
