Healthy lifestyle for rheumatoid arthritis
About this research
We are seeking volunteers to participate in research focused on how healthy lifestyle changes can benefit people living with rheumatoid arthritis.
Who can participate
You may be eligible to participate if you are:
- diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) within last 24 months
- currently on medication for your RA
- motivated to make positive lifestyle changes
- able to attend assessments at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
What's involved
You will be:
- asked to attend 6-monthly visits at Princess Alexandra Hospital (total 4 visits)
- placed in either:
- Program A: receive a mix of in-person (on-site) and online (remote) training over 20 weeks, or
- Program B: receive written and verbal information to help you improve your physical health, mental wellness and eating habits.
