The central mechanism behind neuromuscular control of the shoulder

About this research 

This study will investigate how the brain controls the shoulders muscles by using Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) a safe, non-invasive method. 

Who can participate 

You're eligible to participate in this study if you: 

  • are aged 18 years or older 
  • are righthanded 
  • have been experiencing right shoulder pain for at least 3 months.

What's involved 

As part of the study, sensors will be placed on or in your shoulder muscles to assess the response from stimulation. 

These procedures are safe but can be associated with transient pain/discomfort and other minor risks. 

Benefits of participating 

Participants will receive $50.
