Exploring experiences of adolescents with non-traumatic knee pain
About this research
This study aims to understand how psychological and social factors of non-traumatic knee pain are experienced and managed by adolescents.
Who can participate
You're eligible to participate in this study if you:
- are aged 12–18 years
- are currently enrolled in high school (Year 7–12)
- have had non-traumatic knee pain for at least 6 months.
What's involved
You will be asked to:
- complete a short survey
- participate in an in-person 30-minute interview at The University of Queensland's (UQ) St Lucia campus
- undergo a physical assessment of your knee with a registered physiotherapist.
Parking at UQ will be provided free of charge.
