Exploring meaningful outcomes for people living with chronic pain when engaging in digital psychological interventions

About this research

This research explores the experiences of people living with chronic pain to help inform the development of digital psychological interventions that can deliver high-value care.

Who can participate

You may be eligible to participate if you:

  • are aged 18 years or older
  • have been diagnosed with a chronic primary or musculoskeletal pain condition (non-cancer)
  • can participate in an online interview
  • are not currently experiencing acute psychological distress or cognitive impairment.

What's involved

You'll be asked to:

  • complete an online demographic survey (approximately 10 minutes)
  • attend a one-on-one online interview (approximately 1 hour).

The interview will be recorded for analysis purposes. Any identifiable information will be removed before data analysis.

Benefits of participating

Participants' contribution will help support the development of digital psychological interventions designed to better meet the needs of people living with pain.
