How context shapes alcohol drinking

About this research

Researchers are exploring how autistic traits influence alcohol-related behaviours.

Who can participate

You're eligible if you:

  • have previously drunk alcohol
  • have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder or Asperger’s Syndrome
  • are aged 18 years or older.

What's involved

You'll be asked to:

  • complete an online, anonymous 60-minute exercise in which you'll read 8 short stories describing scenarios in which people are drinking alcohol
  • imagine yourself in these scenarios, and answer questions about your drinking behaviour 
  • complete additional, online questionnaires about your general drinking behaviour.
