Improving outcomes for women with epilepsy: perimenopause and beyond

About this research

We're investigating the effect of hormones on seizures, bone health, memory and cognition and quality of life.

Who can participate

You're eligible to participate in this study if you’re:

  • a woman with epilepsy (inclusive of cis and transgender females)
  • aged 40 years and over.

In order to participate, you will be asked to provide:

  • documentation confirming your epilepsy
  • written, informed consent.

What's involved

The study involves the collection of your data over different time points in your life (once a year).
