About this research
We're exploring how parents and caregivers interact with different children across a range of everyday conversational situations. We aim to understand how the linguistic choices adults make may influence early development in children.
Who can participate
You're eligible to participate in this study if you're a parent of children of any age.
What’s involved
You'll be asked to:
- complete a multi-part online survey in which you'll be presented with 12 vignettes, each depicting a young child, with a story attached
- record how you'd respond in these scenarios
- complete demographics, social identity, and attitudes questions.
