Migraine diary

About this research 

The aim of this study is to examine a new brief diary to help people with migraine to document the impact of migraine better. This focuses on symptoms other than headache as well as functional implications.

Who can participate 

You're eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • are aged 18–65 years
  • experiencing migraine attacks at least twice per month.

What’s involved 

You'll be asked to:

  • complete a short eligibility questionnaire, then some baseline questions about your migraines
  • complete a diary daily for one month, which should take no longer than a few seconds on days without migraine and less than a few minutes on days with migraine, and
  • be interviewed (up to 30 minutes) regarding your experiences of using the diary. 

This can all be done online. 

Benefits of participating 

Participants will be provided with a summary of their responses over the month which may help them to understand their migraine attacks better.
