The shoulder osteoarthritis research priorities study (SOAR)
About this research
We want to hear what you think is important to research about shoulder osteoarthritis (OA). Despite shoulder OA impacting many Australians and New Zealanders and causing significant pain, not much is known about it.

You're eligible to participate in this study if you:
- are aged 18 years or over
- are living in Australia or New Zealand
- have shoulder osteoarthritis, care for someone with shoulder osteoarthritis or provide healthcare to people with shoulder osteoarthritis.
What's involved
As part of this research study you’ll be asked to:
- undertake a 5–10 minute survey
- identify about 1–5 questions that you think are important for future shoulder osteoarthritis research to answer
- share a bit about yourself like your age and gender.
To find out more about the study, including how we will use and store your answers, watch the participant information video. Please note, there is an Australian and New Zealand version of the video, and you will have to scroll to view them.
