Understanding PTSD and complex-PTSD impacts on the brain and well-being

About this research

We're seeking to improve the understanding of PTSD and complex-PTSD, two conditions with unique impacts on the brain and overall well-being. 

Who can participate

You're eligible to participate in this study if you: 

  • are aged 18 years or over
  • are fluent in English
  • have a current diagnosis of PTSD or complex-PTSD
  • are MRI-safe (e.g. no electronic implants or claustrophobia).

What's involved

As part of the study, you will be asked to: 

  • wear a smart watch for one week
  • complete a questionnaire/s
  • have an MRI brain scan
  • have your blood drawn.

Benefits of participating

Participants will receive $50 for participating in the study and $10 for returning the smart watch.
